May 26, Serbian President Aleksandar Vu?i?, making a state visit to China, met HBIS Chairman Liu Jian. Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Ming, Serbia First Vice Premier Sini?a MALI, Serbian Domestic and International Trade Minister Jagoda LAZAREVI?, Serbian Ambassador Maja Stefanovic also attended the meeting.

President Vu?i? gave high remarks to the HBIS hard work in Serbia and said, with the great support of Chairman Xi Jinping, in the past ten years, HBIS projects in Serbia had contributed so much to both local communities and all Serbian people. He thanks HBIS for its efforts in Serbia and its contributions to economic development and and the ironclad friendship between China and Serbia. As ever, Serbian government will continue to support HBIS Serbian projects, including its green energy project in its endeavour for green and low carbon development.

Liu Jian appreciated the long support of President Vu?i? and Serbian government to HBIS Serbia and presented the performances of the company in last decade. He said, with the great support of Chairman Xi Jinping and President Vu?i?, HBIS Serbia had been operating strong and steady, making new progresses. HBIS will implement the consensuses made by leaders of the two countries and carry out green energy and technology upgrade projects. HBIS Serbia will be fully committed to a better company and a China Serbia Community of Shared Future in the New Era.

HBIS Operations Improvement Department, HBIS Tangsteel executives and Serbian officials also attended the meeting.
